Alright, let’s do this. No gimmicky intro this time – sometimes the best motivation comes from within. Join me for a short (but of course, brutal) core exercise! I know you’re already doing so well with your exercise regime and your climbing projects, but it doesn’t hurt to throw a little core in there once in awhile, am I right?
Make sure to hashtag #tuesdaycorenight on instagram so I can see how hard you’re working and also to be featured in one of my future posts!
This week’s routine is something a friend and I did last week, and will be doing again tonight. It really had us laying on the floor, clutching our abs in pure agony. So, you know, it’s good! Enjoy! 🙂
Repeat x3
1 min straight arm plank
1 min bicycles
1 min side plank (rotate other side after 30secs)
1 min bicycles
2 min break
climb on xx
I love the invite to #tuesdaycorenight – just the post gets me motivations. Thanks!

Awesome. Is the side plank on the hand or forearm? I could add one in there for you…. L sits. You know it makes sense.

Forearm, but either variation works! And, thank you for the suggestion! I’m always open to new ideas:)

Hanging leg raises with a 2 second pause at the top.

That makes for a killer core workout. It’s especially nice because it’s climbing specific too!

Brilliant. One of my favourites.

If you can do it…. In a dead hang position, take pressure of skeleton by pulling up a snootch, then toes to bar. Then right leg to right hand and vice versa. No momentum.

Intense, I like it! I’ll give it a try, thanks!:)

Excellent. Just make sure to keep me up to date with your progress. Can’t wait to hear how you get on. I can then suggest a few more.
